RYAN CHENIER, BA (ADV), MBA
FOUNDER & CEO
Ryan founded Mastery Fractional CFO Services in 2019 and has spent the past seven years partnering with Canadian business owners as their fractional CFO. Today he leads a growing team specializing in construction — custom home builders, contractors, and trades — where he and his colleagues bring executive-level financial leadership to companies scaling between $2M and $40M+ in revenue.
Ryan's path into financial leadership was a natural progression. Before founding Mastery CFO, he spent over a decade in senior business development at a $600M+ national logistics company, where he sold complex, financially-driven solutions to CEOs, CFOs, and owners of mid-market and enterprise clients ranging from $10M to over $1B+ in revenue. The work was deeply financial. Ryan collaborated closely with his company's operations, pricing, and executive teams to design logistics solutions that let clients piggyback on existing infrastructure — reducing their cost of transportation while preserving his company's margins on a foundation of disciplined unit economics. He consistently ranked at the top of the firm, outperforming peers in much larger markets, and gained the kind of perspective on how large organizations operate that now informs how he advises smaller, owner-led businesses.
That combination is Mastery's differentiator: strategic financial discipline paired with a genuine instinct for how businesses actually grow. Clients value Ryan as a trusted advisor who understands revenue and operations from the inside, not just from a spreadsheet.
Ryan earned his MBA while working full-time and has been entrepreneurial since childhood — when door-to-door odd jobs were the only business model he knew. He lives in Winnipeg and works with construction companies across Canada.
LOGAN GIESBRECHT
OPERATIONS MANAGER & FINANCIAL ANALYST
Logan plays a key role in both the operational management of Mastery Fractional CFO Services and the delivery of financial insight to our clients.
Over the past several years, Logan has worked closely alongside our fractional CFO team, gaining hands-on experience supporting financial reporting, data analysis, and the systems that help business owners better understand and manage their companies. Through this work, he has developed strong financial analysis capabilities and a practical understanding of the financial challenges faced by growing businesses.
He has supported financial work across multiple client engagements, providing him with broad exposure to the financial operations of a wide range of businesses.
As Operations Manager, Logan helps oversee the internal systems and processes that support our client engagements, coordinating team members and ensuring work is delivered efficiently and consistently.
Logan is also highly proficient with modern cloud-based accounting and financial reporting systems.
WILLIAM CHENIER
ASSOCIATE
Bill is a dedicated part-time team member at Mastery Fractional CFO and a full-time commerce student at the University of Manitoba. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for financial strategy, Bill seamlessly balances his academic endeavors with his professional responsibilities. His strong leadership capabilities are evident in his approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.

He consistently brings innovative ideas to the table, enhancing the company's service offerings and improving client satisfaction. His ability to think outside the box and develop strategic solutions has made him a valuable asset to the team.
ALEC HALKET, BCOMM (HONS)
FRACTIONAL CFO ASSOCIATE / FINANCIAL ANALYST
Alec is a Fractional CFO Associate and Financial Analyst at Mastery Fractional CFO Services. He works alongside our CFO team to help business owners better understand their financial performance, strengthen decision-making, and build the financial systems that
support long-term growth.
Prior to joining Mastery, Alec spent more than four years in public practice, specializing in assurance and audit. He worked with organizations across a variety of industries, developing strong technical expertise in financial reporting, account analysis, reconciliations, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Alec holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba with a major in Accounting. He successfully passed the CPA Common Final Examination (CFE) in 2025 and is completing the final administrative requirements for his CPA designation.
Alec enjoys working closely with business owners and management teams to understand how their organizations operate, identify opportunities for improvement, and transform financial information into practical business insight.

JASON GIESBRECHT
